Job Title:

Systems Design and Development Lead

About the Role:

The Systems Design and Development Lead will be responsible for leading the design and development of systems to meet assigned requirements.

This role involves exercising technical analysis, making recommendations on technical alternatives, component design or selection, and/or adaptation to meet assigned requirements.

You will work under the supervision of senior engineers and follow, perform, and record the results of test plan execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of systems to meet assigned requirements.

  • Follow, perform, and record the results of test plan execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited institution in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
  • Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience is preferred.
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components is preferred.
Security Clearance:
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms.
  • Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk.
  • Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, etc.).
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time.
Estimated Salary:

$160,000 per year.
