About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Director, Professional Services to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering quality, skilled nursing care to patients in the home
  • Working in accordance with physician orders and the Plan of Care
  • Providing patient care and identifying the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients
  • Verifying the Plan of Care prior to each visit and providing care according to the physician's orders
  • Documenting nursing interventions, patient response, and significant findings

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:

  • A Vocational School Graduate degree
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Florida
  • Experience working in home health care or a related field
