Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed under the supervision of a Registered Therapist
  • Educating patients and families on exercises and activities
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting treatments

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a valid MA Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with patients and medical professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
