R&R Human Resources Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Facilities Coordinator/Building Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building maintenance and shipping and receiving processes.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly facilities duties, including changing lightbulbs, storing items in proper areas, sweeping floors in common areas, and inspecting the building interior and emergency lights.
- Building Inspections and Repairs: Conduct regular building inspections, perform light repair work, and maintain the building's exterior areas, including lawn maintenance in the summer and snowplowing in the winter.
- Liaison for Outside Vendors: Serve as a liaison for outside vendors, including electrical, HVAC, and roofing contractors.
- Shipping and Receiving: Examine shipment contents and compare them with records, such as invoices and orders, to verify accuracy. Store articles in bins, on floors, or on shelves, and maintain inventory and stock records.
- Preparation for Shipment: Prepare products and goods for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to avoid damage. Prepare associated paperwork, including shipping labels, invoices, and instructions.
- Receiving and Inventory Management: Receive materials and supplies into the warehouse, visually examining them for damage before entering inventory or storage areas. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the receiving area and warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Use the inventory control system to track the status of goods and materials.
- Assistance at Job Sites: Assist at job sites, handling installs and other light tasks.
- Education and Experience: Completed high school/GED and at least one year of related experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail. Physical ability to pack and receive and store goods and materials, with the ability to move and lift boxes up to 75 lbs. Knowledge of hand tools and ability to perform light construction duties.
- Availability and Reliability: Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm. Early starts may be required in winter months for snowplowing prior to employees' arrival.
- Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to make occasional pickups and deliveries. Knowledge of FedEx and UPS shipping programs is a plus.
- Punctuality and Reliability: Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational Skills: Organized and willing to work hard to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Background Investigation: Willingness to submit to a background investigation and drug screen.
