Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing speech and language services to students, ensuring their academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech and language needs, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Speech and Language Therapy: Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and provide training and support on speech and language development.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress, and provide regular progress reports to parents and educators.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • State License: Florida state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and certification from the Florida Department of Education for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of IDEA and state and federal regulations governing special education, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
