Job Summary: JobsRUs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Service Attendant to join our team. As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in various commercial, healthcare, and educational settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain offices, patient/resident rooms, classrooms, common areas, and other facilities to ensure a healthy and safe environment.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors, as well as vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
  • Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and carpet shampooers, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Empty trash and garbage containers, and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and make minor repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Drive company vehicles, such as golf carts, to transport equipment and supplies.
  • Move furniture and set up tables and chairs as needed.
  • Notify supervisors of any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Report any accidents or injuries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and take direction is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic phone and computer skills, including email and texting.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Adequate oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
