As a Dietary Manager at The Laurels of Bedford, you will oversee the culinary department and ensure that guests receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include purchasing food and supplies within budget, providing technical guidance on diet planning and menu formulation, and maintaining a supply to adequately cover each meal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the purchase of food and supplies within budget
  • Providing technical guidance on diet planning and menu formulation
  • Maintaining a supply to adequately cover each meal
  • Interviewing guests and family members to obtain diet history
  • Providing timely and accurate completion of dietary portion of the clinical record
  • Participating in regularly scheduled conferences, including department head meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings

Qualifications include:

  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Serve Safe certification
  • One to two years of management/supervisory experience preferred
