Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist Lead to join our team at Unavailable. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for leading a team of MRI technologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Monitor and adjust patient flow to minimize wait times and optimize staff productivity.
    • Serve as a resource to staff on MRI protocols and equipment maintenance.
    • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to new or lower-level employees.
    • Prepare work schedules and review work to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Patient Care and Safety
    • Ensure patient safety and well-being during MRI examinations.
    • Monitor patient flow and equipment operation to take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to MRI safety, examinations, and equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Education and Training
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest education and training opportunities to ensure MRI skills are current and/or updated.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
  • Certifications and Licensure
    • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) certification is required.
    • State of Washington Certification as a Radiological Technologist required.
    • ARRT MRI Certification is preferred.
    • Current healthcare provider BLS Certification.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience
    • One year of work experience in the senior level of the job family, or any combination of experience or education that would demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Knowledge and Abilities
    • Considerable knowledge of the policies, standards, procedures, processes, and tools applicable to the work unit and the function.
