Behavioral Support Specialist

The Amergis organization is dedicated to providing exceptional educational and behavioral services to children and adults with special needs. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating learning and behavioral goals, working collaboratively with school professionals and other specialists to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate educational and behavioral services to children and adults with special needs
- Collaborate with school professionals and other specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each client
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 60 college credit hours or 456 on Para Pro Exam
- Two years of pediatric experience preferred
- BT, TA, or Para experience preferred
- Current CPR certification if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
- Meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Contract for the remainder of the '24-'25 School Year
- Full-Time In-Person M-F, 40 hours weekly

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits eligibility is dependent on employment status.
