Job Title: Sales Merchandiser - Part Time Murray

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Sales Merchandiser to join our team in Murray, UT. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, ensuring they are stocked, rotated, and presented in a pleasing manner for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, and facing products to present a visually appealing display.
  • Drive company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations.
  • Load and unload product in company-issued vehicle, including pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • This is a part-time position, and individuals must be available to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays and weekends, with a schedule to be discussed at the time of interview.
  • Must have a solid work history and 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising position, with experience in the bread/bakery/food industry a plus.
  • This fast-paced position requires the ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, plus maneuver large bulky racks of product.
  • Must be highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization.
  • Must have a proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.
  • Must uphold the Universal Bakery core values.
