Job Description

At U.S. Bank, we're committed to helping our customers and businesses make informed financial decisions. As a Credit Credit Analyst, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in managing customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing accurate and consistent financial statements, quarterly trend analyses, and covenant tests in accordance with bank spreading standards and credit policies.
  • Analyzing financial data and preparing comprehensive written analyses to identify potential credit risks and opportunities.
  • Assisting Portfolio Managers in preparing and presenting credit requests for Credit Approval.
  • Maintaining a compliance monitoring and financial statistic database to track credit agreement requirements and customer financial reporting.

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in a finance/analytical related role.
Preferred Skills
  • Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance, with the ability to apply knowledge in those areas to understanding the overall lending and business environment.
  • Effective analytical and technical report writing skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently performing financial analyses and communicate potential issues.
  • Ability to execute straightforward credit requests for existing clients and work with Credit Approvers within the bank.
