As a key member of our Institutional Group, you will be responsible for managing the onboarding of new institutional segregated and fund accounts, subject matter expertise in international institutional funds and separately managed accounts, and assisting Institutional Sales and Client Services Relationship Managers with complex client service requests.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the onboarding process for new institutional clients, ensuring seamless integration into our systems and processes.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of international institutional funds and separately managed accounts, providing expert guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Institutional Sales and Client Services Relationship Managers to resolve complex client service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Design, develop, and implement workflows and process improvements to enhance the client experience and drive operational efficiency.
- Identify and document non-standard operational issues related to international accounts, directed brokerage relationships, and other unique institutional trading operations.
- Coordinate with custodians to support institutional accounts, negotiate contracts between clients and internal teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and stay up-to-date on compliance issues related to the international institutional industry, unique codes of ethics, and internal requirements.
- Communicate detailed international institutional investor account information to senior members of the company.
- Support the Institutional Client Operations Team Leader in the development and growth of the team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on institutional client operations.
- Familiarity with securities, financial markets, and institutional account types.
- Experience with customer/client service, project management, and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience.
- A discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
