We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Director of Nursing to join our team at AOM Healthcare. As a premier long term care company, we operate twenty-one facilities throughout the state of Ohio and are committed to providing high-quality patient-centered care.

About the Role

The Travel Director of Nursing will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the functions of the nursing department. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient nursing care, supervising nurse practitioners, assistant directors of clinical services, clinical nurses, and nurse techs, and carrying out resident care policies in the absence of the executive director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and develop a team of nursing staff, including nurse practitioners, assistant directors of clinical services, clinical nurses, and nurse techs.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with residents, families, internal staff, and external community partners.
