Director of Nursing Opportunity at The Laurels of Athens

The Laurels of Athens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the nursing services provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care provided to residents.
  • Ensure proper charting and documentation of care and medications.
  • Recommend staffing levels and participate in the budget process.
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulations and reimbursement systems.
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement program.

Requirements:

  • RN license in the state.
  • Director of Nursing or management experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
  • Maintains current CPR certification.
