Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our team at The Kroger Company. In this role, you will assist with and perform various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures to building and equipment, troubleshoot issues and repair equipment as directed, maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts, and operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts safely. Additionally, you will assist in performing component replacement and support other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and procedures to ensure building and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized inventory of parts.
  • Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks, and aerial lifts safely.
  • Assist in performing component replacement.
  • Support other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
