Medical Director Opportunity in Northern California

Pacific Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Director to join our team in Northern California. As a key member of our hospitalist group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our team.
About the Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading healthcare system in a dynamic and growing environment. Our hospital is a 190-bed acute care facility with a 11-bed ICU, staffed by an intensivist 24/7. We have a soft patient cap of 18 patients per shift, and our EMR system is Meditech.
Responsibilities
As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for:
• Providing medical direction and guidance to our hospitalist team
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Mentoring and training junior physicians
Requirements
We are looking for a board-certified physician with at least 2 years of experience in hospital medicine. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Temp privileges take 30 days to obtain.
Location
Our hospital is located in coastal Northern California, offering a beautiful and desirable place to live and work.
