A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

Each day brings unique challenges and rewards at Hash Kitchen Arrowhead. As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to clean and sanitize dishes, ensuring that the culinary team has the necessary tools to prepare and serve delectable brunch dishes.

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Washing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans, either using a dishwasher or manually.
  • Keeping the dishwasher clean and fully stocked, promptly reporting any mechanical issues to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Monitoring dishwasher water temperature to guarantee a sanitary wash cycle.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Removing trash from designated kitchen locations.
  • Organizing clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Ensuring adequate levels of clean tableware for both the dining area and kitchen.
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
