Job Summary

The Dishwasher's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and safe environment for guests by ensuring all kitchen areas are sanitized and organized. This role requires attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, operate, and unload the dishwasher to specifications.
  • Monitor the dishwasher's water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
  • Keep the dish room clean and organized.
  • Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware and plateware for auditoriums, bar, and kitchen.
  • Monitor linen and trash containers and empty them when necessary.
  • Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop all kitchen and lobby floors.
  • Handle tableware and plateware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation and production areas as required.
  • Maintain sanitation buckets with proper dilution.
  • Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures.
Requirements:
  • Prior high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.
  • Available to work on nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and loud environment in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
  • Required to obtain and maintain a current food handler's card and/or food safety certification.
  • Requires bending, stretching, reaching, squatting, twisting, standing, walking up and down stairs and on flat surfaces, lifting (up to 50 pounds), interacting with guests and employees, problem solving, and cognitive skills.
