Industrial Engineer 4

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer 4 to support various programs under Advanced Weapons Systems. The successful candidate will lead the company to success by utilizing capacity modeling software, Digital Transformation, and common IE tactics.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and/or support key operational excellence plans for the site.
- Develop and maintain capacity models using FlexSim for mixed-model production environments with frequent product introductions.
- Manage KPIs within a digital environment.
- Experience with MES Production System.
- Develop and maintain plant layouts to support growth and equipment changes.
- Conduct work measurement studies to establish operational and production standards.
- Develop and implement operations KPI reporting metrics.
- Provide input for identification and planning of department goals and budget.
- Support productivity, quality, process efficiency, space utilization, standardization, and lead time improvement efforts.
- Digital Transformation support.
- Provide production layout, operations, and planning support for new product introduction.
- 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Science, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management; 6 years with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD degree.
- LEAN Six Sigma certification and LEAN Six Sigma implementation experience preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including macro development and data mining/manipulation tools for enhanced data value.
- PC expertise (Office, Capacity Simulation, CostPoint, MES, SAP, Autocad, other databases).
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance.
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Masters degree.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.
