Bilingual Triage Registered Nurse

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Triage Registered Nurse to join our team at Humana Inc. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care through effective communication and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient care needs by building rapport and understanding their concerns.
- Create a supportive environment by offering emotional, psychological, and spiritual assistance to patients and their families.
- Evaluate patients presenting with various conditions, including urgent care situations, in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Initiate appropriate treatment plans in consultation with medical professionals for common ambulatory diagnoses.
- Encourage patient autonomy by setting care objectives and educating patients and their families about their health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure compliance with established care standards and measure health outcomes against set goals.
- Contribute to a collaborative healthcare team, promoting a culture of teamwork and shared responsibility.
- Maintain proficiency in both English and Spanish, ensuring clear communication with all patients.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in urgent care settings.
- Ability to perform basic wound care procedures.
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
