- Perform pre-placement examinations, fitness for duty, and return to work evaluations
- Treat and manage work-related injuries and illnesses
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a recognized institution
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
- Board certification or eligibility in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or other Acute Care Specialty
- BLS – Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association
