Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities and industrial plants.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical standards and follow guidelines established by the Company policy and procedure manuals.
  • Ensure that all aspects of care have respect for personal values and beliefs and are focused on the individual needs of each patient.
  • Elicit and review information about the patient's medical history.
  • Order or execute various tests, analyses, results, reports, and diagnostic images to deliver information on a patient's condition promptly to determine appropriate treatment and follow up.
  • Coordinate or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate for the patient's condition.
  • Promote health by educational instruction as well as advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for the prevention of disease.
  • All entries into the medical record whether electronic or on paper will be legible, complete, dated, timed, and signed with appropriate credentials.
  • Participate in department quality improvement activities, and staff educational programs, attend departmental meetings, and demonstrate and maintains clinical competency in the delivery of patient care services by Company guidelines.
  • Participate in Peer Review and Chart Audit processes as designated by the Medical Director.
  • Maintain collaboration with the physician to deal with issues outside of their scope of practice.
  • Other duties as needed.


Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6yrs; M.S.+0 yrs.). The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English. 2 Years of Relevant Experience. 1 Year of Proven Leadership.

Work hours:
M-F - 8am - 5pm

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Nursing Degree or related field preferred. Experience as a Registered Nurse. Current active state Registered Nursing license: State Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License in good standing or the ability to quickly obtain this license is required. Board Certified for Advanced Practice. Occupational Health Certification preferred.
