About the Job:

We are looking for a highly experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in a high-acuity 1000+ bed hospital with a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in critical care and large hospital settings, with a strong background in respiratory care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients in various settings, including critical care units and intermediate units
  • Operate various respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oscillators, and nitric oxide machines
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct tracheostomy care and bronchodilation procedures

Requirements:

  • Current Ohio license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • At least 1 year of experience in acute care settings
  • Strong critical care and large hospital experience
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or Certificate of Program completion in Respiratory Care
  • NBRC-RRT registry
