Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at the Pearl River Resort. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to order, following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth service.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in a culinary role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
