Job Title: MEP Superintendent

Flux Resources is seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of MEP activities related to the construction, startup, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries and manage vendor coverage
  • Develop and manage MEP critical path startup schedules
  • Implement and manage electrical safety programs
  • Coordinate electrical energization for the site and equipment
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections of equipment prior to energizing
  • Organize and conduct coordination meetings for critical MEP activities
  • Manage and track critical path construction activities
  • Work with subcontractors and design teams to resolve MEP issues
  • Coordinate and manage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Use Cx Alloy or Microsoft Compass software to track commissioning documentation
  • Manage assembly and turnover of commissioning documentation
  • Coordinate and support third-party commissioning activities
  • Coordinate and manage quality control processes for MEP systems
  • Develop MOPs for critical work in live environments
Requirements:
  • 7 years' experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction
  • 5 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and Commissioning
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and ability to work independently
  • Effectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of duties
