MEP Superintendent

Flux Resources is seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing activities related to the construction, startup, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Track and coordinate equipment deliveries to ensure timely completion of projects
- Manage and coordinate vendor coverage to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Develop and implement MEP critical path startup schedules to meet project deadlines
- Manage the implementation of electrical safety programs to ensure a safe working environment
- Coordinate electrical energization for the site and equipment to prevent power outages
- Conduct QA/QC inspections of equipment to ensure completeness of work prior to energizing
- Organize and conduct coordination meetings for critical MEP activities to ensure effective communication
- Manage and track critical path construction activities to ensure project completion on time
- Work with subcontractors and design teams to resolve MEP issues and ensure project success
- Coordinate and manage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure smooth operation
- Use Cx Alloy or Microsoft Compass software to track commissioning documentation and ensure compliance
- Manage the assembly and turnover of commissioning documentation, including FWT, L2, L3, QA/QC, and PFPT
- Coordinate and support third-party commissioning activities to ensure project completion
- Coordinate and manage the quality control process for MEP systems to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Develop MOPs for critical work in live environments to ensure safe and efficient operation
- 7 years' experience in Mechanical or Electrical System Construction
- 5 years combined experience in Mission Critical Construction, Hospital Construction, MEP Project Management, or Mechanical and Electrical System Start-up and Commissioning
- Strong communication and leadership skills to build and lead a team
- Ability to coordinate and schedule MEP activities to meet project deadlines
- Aptitude for problem-solving and ability to work independently
- Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Effective utilization of computer and software technology in the performance of duties
The pay for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience, education, or other bona fide factors. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
