Responsibilities:- Diagnose transmission-related issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transmission systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective transmission parts, such as gears, clutches, seals, and bearings.
- Conduct thorough transmission fluid flushes and refills according to manufacturer specifications.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper transmission operation.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of services rendered.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to provide comprehensive automotive services to customers.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and transmission repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient workflow and ensure safety compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized automotive technical training program.
- Minimum 5 years of experience overhauling transmissions.
- Familiarity with GM products, Allison & Medium Duty Vehicles a plus.
- Ability to evaluate a cost comparison to overhaul or replace units.
- Understanding of new model transmissions required.
- Experience with Electrical Diagnosis of Transmission concerns required.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and provide clear explanations to customers.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, lift components, and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Florida driver's license with no major moving violations.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including up to $135,000 annually, with opportunities for additional bonuses based on experience and certifications. All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks and a drug test.
