Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering assignments and projects across Aurorium. This role involves conceptual design, detailed engineering, budget development, design management, and implementation of multi-disciplined engineering projects. The successful candidate will manage complex projects from concept to start-ups, initially focused at Aurorium's Pasadena, Texas facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a project from conceptual design to full implementation
  • Assume direct engineering control and accountability of design, construction, and commissioning
  • Develop realistic budgets and action plans that define the project tasks and schedule
  • Lead development of project goals and expectations
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure project implementation is delivered in accordance with all applicable codes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of engineering experience within the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of capital expansion projects within a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in budget and contractor management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and manufacturing processes within the chemical manufacturing industry
