About the Role
At Quality Talent Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at the ASPCA Community Medicine. As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a critical role in providing expert veterinary care to support the welfare of animals and their people through our stationary and mobile veterinary clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, quality preventive and basic care to patients, overseeing all aspects of veterinary care during a clinic day.
- Perform pre-surgery physical examinations on all surgical candidates.
- Perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgical procedures.
- Diagnose and treat post-surgical medical complications.
- Provide a safe and compassionate environment for animals in our care, our staff, and for our clients by using low-stress handling techniques.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (or equivalent).
- Current New York State veterinary license.
- Fear Free Veterinary certification is required within 60 days of hire.
Work Experience:
- We love new graduates and provide structured mentorship while you hone your skills.
- Experience in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter is preferred.
Language:
- English (Required).
- Bilingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred.
