Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant Job Description

As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant with Interim HealthCare, you will play a vital role in providing personalized, home-based therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, and functionality due to an illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide home-based physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Work as part of a home health team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assist patients and their families with exercises and education under the direction of the Physical Therapist
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and active PTA license in Colorado
  • Minimum of one year of physical therapy assistant experience, preferably in a home healthcare setting
  • CPR certification and ability to pass a background check and drug test
