Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research to gather necessary documentation related to health insurance, social security, medical records, and healthcare providers.
  • Systematically maintain and organize all case files and relevant information, whether in electronic or paper format, in alignment with firm protocols.
  • Assist attorneys in all facets of case management, including billing processes, tracking deadlines, and providing reminders as needed.
  • Offer strategic recommendations to attorneys regarding efficient and cost-effective methods to achieve client objectives.
  • Keep clients and external counsel informed about case progress as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Strong multitasking abilities and self-motivation are essential.
  • Experience in legal research and document drafting is crucial.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and case management software is required.
  • Prior experience in case management is necessary, ideally in roles such as personal injury case manager, paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant within a law firm, non-profit organization, or human services agency.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, a 2-year degree along with Paralegal certification is acceptable. A high school diploma is mandatory.

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000
