Join Our Team as a Litigation Attorney

Friscia & Ross, P.A. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated associate litigation attorney to join our team in the Tampa Bay Area. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various real estate matters, including representing community associations in litigation and other legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and Reviewing Legal Documents: You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, appeals, and other legal documents related to real estate matters.
  • Real Estate Document Review: You will review and interpret real estate documents and corporate governing documents in conjunction with state law, regulatory opinions, and arbitration opinions.
  • Case Management: You will independently manage collection and deed enforcement litigation files, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Client Communication: You will attend client membership meetings and board meetings, providing expert advice and guidance to community association boards and managers.
  • Court Appearances: You will attend court hearings, mediations, and trial work, representing our clients with confidence and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree: You must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Florida Bar Admission: You must be admitted to the Florida Bar or have an application pending.
  • Technical Skills: You must have basic skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Westlaw.
  • Communication Skills: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak at public meetings.
  • Time Management: You must be able to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
