Job Summary:
Kindred Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse / RN to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) Management team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill, and medically complex patients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing supervisors/managers, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to the next level of care.
- Meet the qualifications outlined below.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse / RN.
- CPR/BCLS certification.
- ACLS preferred.
- CRRN preferred.
