About the Role

At Institute for Community Living (ICL), we are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional I to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks for residents
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Provide transportation for residents to appointments and outings
  • Engage residents in recreational activities and hobbies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (e.g. psychology, social work)
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Certification as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or willingness to obtain certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
