The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the room during surgical procedures, utilizing preference cards and updating as necessary.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. They will also have a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and be able to anticipate the needs of the surgeon.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Coordinating and overseeing the room during surgical procedures
  • Utilizing preference cards and updating as necessary
  • Anticipating the needs of the surgeon

Requirements include:

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas
  • At least 1 year of recent OR Circulator experience
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification
