We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to become a vital part of our expanding team. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our patients.

Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health)
Type:
Part Time/Per Diem
Location:
Service areas include various regions.
Compensation:
Competitive rates per visit, along with mileage reimbursements.
Charting:
Utilize efficient dictation methods for documentation, promoting a balanced work/life experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population.
- Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding speech disorders and their underlying causes.
- Maintain comprehensive records of patient conditions, care plans, and progress.
- Communicate updates and progress to relevant parties, including family members and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Compassionate and attentive, with the ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under the guidance of a licensed professional.
- Active California Speech & Language Pathologist license.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in the field.
- Strong knowledge of speech-related conditions and treatments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in computer use, particularly in healthcare databases.
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
- CPR Certification.
- Competent in completing electronic medical records (EMR) documentation promptly.
