Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Coding and Billing Specialist to join our team at University Women's Specialists. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical coding and billing principles, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform coding services while meeting daily production and quality goals
  • Conduct audit activities, including review of medical chart coding and billing documentation
  • Apply HCC principles to evaluate and assign correct codes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in coding outpatient Evaluation & Management (E/M) Services, surgery, and obstetrics
  • Advanced knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare compliance and auditing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
