POSITION SUMMARY:
The Christina School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to fill the role of a Social Studies Teacher. This position requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession or eligibility for State of Delaware Certification in Secondary Social Studies is required.
- Ability to remain on your feet and engage with students for a minimum of four hours each workday.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance when necessary.
- Must have unrestricted use of arms and hands to meet the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students.
COMPENSATION: Salary will be determined based on the teacher salary schedule, which takes into account both experience and educational qualifications. For more details, please refer to the district's salary schedule.
