Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Developer to join our team in the Tennessee Valley region. As a Business Developer, you'll play a key role in delivering program awareness, identifying opportunities, and achieving program participation to support energy savings goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote energy efficiency programs to local power companies, end-use customers, and TVA program staff.
  • Work closely with program management to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including program participants and market partners.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions to promote energy efficiency programs.
  • Monitor and report on program progress and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with electrical energy efficiency core technology areas, such as HVAC, lighting, controls, and compressed air.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Resident of East Tennessee preferred.
  • Resident of Tennessee required.
