Job Summary

As a Cardiac Monitor Specialist at Providence, you will be responsible for observing cardiac and hemodynamic monitors, reporting any unusual activity to the nurse or charge nurse, and documenting according to unit policy. If applicable, you will perform stat EKGs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac and hemodynamic activity on video monitors, reporting any unusual activity to the nurse or charge nurse.
  • Document patient information according to unit policy.
  • Perform stat EKGs as needed, if applicable.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or monitor technician course or equivalent education/experience.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
