Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular mentoring plans, timesheets, and additional feedback as required for teacher candidates.
  • Maintain regular communication with teacher candidates through virtual office hours and email.
  • Maintain clear, consistent records to the School of Education.
  • Participate in all required training.
  • Respond to teacher candidate questions.
  • Follow university policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A current and valid teaching license.
  • Master's degree in an Education-related field.
  • Travel to schools to observe teacher candidates.
  • Student-focused supervision that addresses the needs of all learners, both traditional and nontraditional.
  • Ongoing professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of and interest in all related educational standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an Education-related field.
  • Experience in teacher supervision, mentoring, and leadership.
