Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide warm and personalized care to patients, assisting with exams, procedures, and vital signs.
  • Administrative Support: Manage appointments, respond to patient inquiries, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Clinical Duties: Perform phlebotomy, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic tests such as EKGs and vision screenings.
  • Office Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure exam rooms are ready and stocked, sterilize equipment, and maintain compliance with CLIA and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Clinic Manager and leadership team to improve processes and enhance patient care.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in an outpatient Primary Care setting.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant Certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Certification: CPR and certification with relevant medical organizations within 12 months of hire.
