Job Summary

As a Director of Philanthropy, you will play a key role in advancing the mission of Providence Health & Service by securing major gifts and building strategic partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gift prospects to support the hospital's fundraising goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to build relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and hospital staff.
  • Manage and lead a team of fundraising professionals to achieve fundraising objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in major gifts fundraising, campaign management, and strategic partnerships.
  • Proven track record of success in securing major gifts and building strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
