Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Allina Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing technical and diagnostic imaging functions in an inpatient setting under the direction of the radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines
  • Identifies patient with two identifiers and documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure
  • Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs and maintaining a safe patient environment in the procedure area
  • Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy and demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment
  • Provides accurate clerical function, including using Excellian (electronic medical record) and understanding the Enterprise Medical Imaging/Picture Archiving and Communication System
  • Communicates with supervisor and team, reporting problems, issues or ideas and providing assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others
Requirements
  • Vocational or Technical Training Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program required
  • Experience in Radiology preferred
  • Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
  • BLS Tier - Basic Life Support - Multisource required
Physical Demands

Medium Work: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally, Up to 25 lbs. frequently
