Position Overview:
As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services within our urgent care facilities. This part-time position requires commitment to one 12-hour shift each week, providing essential support to our healthcare team.

Work Schedule:
One 12-hour shift (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.) weekly, with potential for rotating weekends and holidays based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct precise X-ray examinations as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols, including ALARA principles.
2. Prepare and send images to radiologists for review, promptly communicating results to the medical team.
3. Manage the retrieval and archiving of radiographic reports, including the creation of CDs in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
4. Collect detailed patient data during clinical intake, including vital signs and medical history.
5. Assist patients with mobility, specimen collection, and preparation for examinations as necessary.
6. Complete daily patient referrals and follow-up calls.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current licensure and accreditation by ARRT and applicable state regulations
- Maintenance of CEU/CME requirements for licensure

Preferred:
- Experience in urgent care settings
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric patient care, including vital signs and point-of-care testing
- Proven skills in venipuncture and lab specimen collection.
