Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to join our team at Atkore International. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for safely bending standard sizes and radii of elbows/sweeps, packaging finished products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Complete quality assurance and work order paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Produce high-quality swedge and repair couplings that meet or exceed quality specifications
- Test and measure products to ensure conformance to required specifications
- Change out bell pins and strip plates as needed
- Operate table saw and chop saw to produce straight cuts
- Accurately record scrap product and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform maintenance and cleanup tasks for production and storage areas
- Adhere to plant safety rules and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to develop relationships within the department and contribute to a positive team culture
