We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Operations Manager to join our Student Life team. This full-time position will support the efforts of the Division's budget management, revenue generation and collection, expense tracking, and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business administration, finance, or a related field, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Microsoft products, including Excel, is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Oversee tracking and submitting of inter-departmental charges for a variety of dining programs.
  • Process purchase orders, reimbursements, requisitions approvals, and journal entries.
  • Cashiering responsibility including credit card processing and reconciliation, check and cash deposits, egregious damage billing, inter-departmental charge issuance, petty cash management, and p-card process auditing.
  • Assists reservations to in collect payments, and contract-obligational documents.
  • Assist with vending and bottling contracts including complaints, refunds, tracking, and vendor needs to maintain effective working partnerships. Coordinate donations for campus and oversee vending.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, communications, or a related field OR 5 years of experience in a similar field or with similar duties required.
  • One or more years of business or finance experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills.
  • Interpersonal/human relations skills, written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with use of Microsoft products, including Excel.
  • Must demonstrate a strong Commitment to the Catholic, Jesuit mission of Creighton University.
