Psychologist Role at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital

This position entails delivering psychological evaluations and therapeutic interventions for patients at Piedmont Geriatric Hospital. The psychologist will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to formulate care plans and track patient progress towards their therapeutic objectives.

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
    • Valid Clinical Psychology license in Virginia
    • Experience working with adult populations with mental health issues
    • Familiarity with diverse therapeutic approaches
    • Proficiency in psychological assessment methods
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Licensed psychologist in Virginia is preferred
    • Experience with geriatric, mentally ill, or forensic populations is advantageous
    • Background in behavioral treatment is preferred
    • Training in geriatric-specific assessment tools is a plus
