Psychologist II

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological assessment and psychotherapeutic services to patients at the Piedmont Geriatric Hospital. As a Psychologist II, you will serve as a leader within a treatment team setting, collaborating with other departments to develop support plans for patients and monitoring their progress towards meeting goals and objectives.

• Provide comprehensive psychological assessment and psychotherapeutic services to patients
• Collaborate with treatment teams to develop support plans for patients
• Monitor patients' progress towards meeting goals and objectives
• Participate in projects and committees as needed

• Doctoral degree from a regionally accredited university or school of psychology
• Eligible for licensure in clinical psychology in Virginia
• Training and experience with adult mentally ill population
• Familiarity with a variety of treatment modalities
• Familiarity with neuropsychological, personality, and emotional assessment techniques

• Licensed psychologist in VA
• Training and experience with severely mentally ill and/or geriatric and/or forensic populations
• Previous demonstrated experience in behavioral treatment
• Training and experience with geriatric-specific instruments
