About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. As a Surgical Tech, you will play a vital role in maintaining a well-supplied, sterile environment in our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform terminal cleaning of each operating room daily, including thorough decontamination of furniture, equipment, and air vents.
  • Transport case carts, equipment, and supplies and dispose of hazardous waste according to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain supply inventories at an appropriate par level.
  • Provide physical assistance for patient positioning, lifting, and moving as directed by clinical nursing staff.
Requirements
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
